PORTRAIT TIPS for OLDE TOWN VINTAGE PORTRAITS... Here are a few tips to assist you in achieving that perfect portrait you’ll love forever: We have a large variety of clothing, props, hats, etc. However, if you choose to use your own clothing and accessories, we recommend the following: • Gentlemen and boys should wear a white long sleeve dress shirt with tan pants or jeans. Also, old ties, vests, suspenders, and hats add a special twist to your portrait. • Ladies are recommended to wear ankle length dresses that have lace/ruffles and flow. White or light colors along with small prints photograph very well in Olde Town Vintage. Also, don’t forget the accessories such as necklaces, pearls, pins, and hats. They add a wonderful element to your portrait. • Children and infants should be dressed according to the tips for the adults. Velvet, ruffles, christening outfits are wonderful for children/infants to wear. SPS Photography has an unmatched and large selection of clothing on hand for children/infants (including original authentic Amish children’s clothing). • Always remember to bring a brush/comb with you to your session. It’s good to have for those quick touch ups that are sometimes needed.
